I’ve enjoyed my time with about.me. But ironically, I find myself converting much of the traffic from that network to LinkedIn connections. about.me is sort of like a networking event, where you hand out business cards, and have brief introductions. I like LinkedIn because it allows for a more meaningful interaction over time. Also if you use things like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, you can prospect, which obviously about.me cannot. But it’s cool, and another channel to meet people. And just like any other network out there, it’s about how much time you put into it to the maximum results.
