I’m involved with a non-profit that has a solid business plan, solid business strategy, a well managed team, and all ducks in a row. Because of this they have been able to secure massive funding, taking them to the next level. If this wasn’t the case, when opportunity came knocking they wouldn’t have been able to respond so quickly, efficiently and secure that funding. This will certainly set any charity or non profit apart from the countless other well meaning organizations trying to make a difference. At the end of the day, it’s still a business and should be run as such.
